High School Biology Curriculum Review Team

Representatives from the High School Science Department 

Responsibilities: 

• Follow DESE’s Curriculum Evaluation and Selection process
• Attend meetings outside of contractual time
• Review High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM) that meet the needs of the teachers and students of Leominster 
• Hiqh-Quality Instructional Materials defined by EdReport, CuRATE, or NGSS design badge ratings 
• Possible site visits to other high schools using HQIM
• It strongly suggested that teachers have 5 or more years of experience 
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills 
• In-depth knowledge of the MA and NGSS frameworks 
• Meetings will most likely occur on a Wednesday that does not conflict with district or building-level meetings 
• Summer hours, if needed, will be determined by the team 

Stipend:  $30/hr 

Duration:  End of 2023 - 2024 school year, summer of 2024
