Special Education Teacher - Severe Disabilities  

 

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure an inclusive learning environment.
- Scaffold and modify work based on the assigned curriculum to meet individual student needs.
- Provide targeted support to students in small group settings to enhance their learning experience.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to promote academic success.
- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Qualifications:

- State certification in Special Education.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs is preferred.
